Capping is a tablet compression defect in which the upper or lower portion of a tablet separates from the main body.
Capping হলো tablet manufacturing-এর একটি defect, যেখানে tablet-এর উপরের বা নিচের অংশ মূল tablet থেকে আলাদা হয়ে যায়। এর কারণ হিসেবে granules-এর মধ্যে অতিরিক্ত air entrapment, inadequate binding, improper moisture content এবং unsuitable compression conditions কাজ করতে পারে।
