Carr's Index

Carr's Index is a numerical indicator of powder compressibility, calculated from bulk density and tapped density.

Carr's Index হিসাব করা হয় নিচের সূত্র দিয়ে:

Carr's Index (%) = [(Tapped Density − Bulk Density) / Tapped Density] × 100

এই index powder bed tapping-এর ফলে কতটা volume reduction বা density increase দেখায়, তা নির্দেশ করে। সাধারণভাবে কম Carr's Index ভালো flow properties-এর সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত হতে পারে, তবে এটি একা powder flowability-এর চূড়ান্ত প্রমাণ নয়।
