Film coating is a coating process in which a thin, continuous polymer-based layer is applied to the surface of a tablet or other dosage unit.
Film Coating-এ tablet বা অন্য dosage unit-এর পৃষ্ঠে polymer-ভিত্তিক একটি পাতলা ও ধারাবাহিক film তৈরি করা হয়। এতে সাধারণত polymer, plasticizer, colourant এবং উপযুক্ত solvent বা vehicle থাকতে পারে। Film coating tablet-এর appearance, swallowing characteristics এবং formulation design অনুযায়ী moisture protection বা drug-release properties উন্নত করতে সাহায্য করতে পারে।
