Friability is the tendency of a tablet to lose mass or develop damage due to abrasion or mechanical stress.
Friability হলো ঘর্ষণ বা যান্ত্রিক চাপের কারণে tablet-এর পৃষ্ঠ ক্ষয় হওয়া, ভেঙে যাওয়া বা mass হারানোর প্রবণতা। Friability test tablet-এর mechanical durability মূল্যায়নে ব্যবহৃত হয়। অতিরিক্ত friability থাকলে packaging, transportation ও handling-এর সময় tablet ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হতে পারে।
