Lamination is a tablet defect in which a tablet separates into two or more distinct horizontal layers.
Lamination হলো এমন একটি tablet defect, যেখানে tablet চাপ প্রয়োগের পর দুই বা ততোধিক স্তরে বিভক্ত হয়ে যায়। এটি excessive air entrapment, formulation properties অথবা compression conditions-এর কারণে হতে পারে। Capping-এর সঙ্গে এর পার্থক্য হলো, lamination-এ tablet একাধিক স্তরে বিভক্ত হয়।
