A national formulary is a reference containing information about selected medicines, their uses, and other relevant pharmaceutical or prescribing guidance, according to its scope.
National Formulary হলো নির্দিষ্ট দেশের বা প্রতিষ্ঠানের নির্বাচিত ওষুধ এবং সেগুলোর ব্যবহারসংক্রান্ত তথ্যসমৃদ্ধ একটি reference। তবে National Formulary নামটি সব দেশে একই ধরনের publication বোঝায় না। যেমন, যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের USP–NF-এ pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট quality standards অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকে।
