Picking occurs when portions of the tablet material adhere to the punch surface and are pulled away from the tablet during compression or ejection.
Picking হলো tablet compression-এর সময় tablet-এর কিছু material punch-এর পৃষ্ঠে লেগে যাওয়া এবং পরে tablet থেকে উঠে আসা। Tablet-এর surface-এ বিশেষ করে embossed lettering-এর আশপাশে এই defect দেখা যেতে পারে। Excessive moisture, inadequate lubrication বা formulation-এর sticking tendency এর কারণ হতে পারে।
