Spheronization is a process in which extruded material is converted into rounded or spherical particles through mechanical treatment.
Spheronization-এ extrusion-এর মাধ্যমে তৈরি ছোট strands বা extrudates-কে বিশেষ equipment-এ mechanical treatment দিয়ে গোলাকার বা প্রায় গোলাকার pellets-এ রূপান্তর করা হয়। Extrusion–spheronization একটি প্রচলিত pelletization technique, যা multiparticulate dosage form তৈরিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
