Tapped density is the mass of a powder divided by the volume it occupies after being subjected to a specified tapping procedure.
Tapped Density হলো নির্দিষ্ট tapping procedure-এর পর powder যে volume দখল করে, সেই volume দিয়ে powder-এর mass ভাগ করলে পাওয়া মান। Tapping-এর ফলে particle rearrangement ঘটে এবং সাধারণত powder bed-এর volume কমে যায়। এটি powder packing ও flow characteristics মূল্যায়নে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
